As a retired couple, we hired John Kwong in 2015 to sell our home of 34 years and find us a new house of lesser value. Obviously we had no recent experience of the real estate market. We had a fair bit of anxiety about the process and outcome. At that time the economy was becoming uncertain and it took awhile to find the true market price for an older house of our location and condition. John kept us realistic but committed and when suddenly there were two offers, we were the beneficiaries of his negotiating experience. Next came the search for a new property, the parameters of which had been planned long before. John steered us away from inappropriate choices while patiently respecting our changing wish list. When we located our new home, his knowledge and connections not only helped us secure it, but he arranged the perfect possession dates to allow us to gradually move out and in, saving us effort and money.
